I painted this Pirate Banner for Peter Pan at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre in 2005. Loved this production. The original design had a cigarette held between the teeth but the director nixed it. Not a good example for the kids, I guess. I would’ve added to the badness look, but I still love it. One of my favorites. I think the dimensions were 6’x12′.

I painted this cheeky looking fellow for a lovely Scottish gentleman who worked his entire career as a merchant marine. I think he missed the constant company of the herring gulls. Now he has one in his master bath to watch him brush his teeth every morning.
His name is Michael. That’s what the homeowner named him. “After the recent hurricane”, she said. I love that he has a name. This handsome devil is nearly eight feet tall and graces the entryway of a home in Beaufort, NC. I think it’s obvious that it’s a (huge) homage to Audubon.
